Abstract: The study of growth characterization of Sassafras tsumu plantation indicates：The growth of Sassafras tsumu plantation is relective slow before 2 years,and considerable rapid,the peak periods current annual increments of tree high ,diameter at breast high and volume respectively emerge in 4,3,and 8 years,quantitative mature period come in 20 years.It is very necessary to thinly cut in 6-8 years in current plantation density,and once more in 16 years.
