Abstract: Chromoplast pigments contents of tobacco leaves of K326 from high temperature desiccation and liquid nitrogen grinding was detected by high-performance liquid chromatography method. The result showed that though extremely significant differences were existed in chromoplast pigments contents of leaves by liquid nitrogen grinding and high temperature desiccation, chromoplast pigments contents of leaves by liquid nitrogen grinding were more approached that of green leaves than high temperature desiccation. It was evident that liquid nitrogen grinding was more authentic for detection of chromoplast pigments of tobacco leaves.
