Abstract: A study on the technique of tissue culture and establishment of asexual system of Cichorium intybus was conducted. The results indicated that the ideal medium for induction and differentiation of buds from stem segments are MS＋BA0.4mg/L＋ 2,4-D1.6mg/L and 1/2 MS＋ AgNO3 20.5mg/L＋BA0.3mg/L＋NAA0.1mg/L, respectively, The medium of 1/3MS＋IAA0.2-0.4 mg/L is suitable for root growth.
