Abstract: With studying of China’s historical cultural towns villages related thesis,publications,national and local laws and regulations during the past 10 years,this article concluded that the study of China’s historical cultural towns villages had achieved very encouraging results and a integrated protection system was taking shape.This system includes theoretical awareness system,resource investigating and dynamic monitoring system,technical support and service system,laws and regulations system.Finally,the achievements and shortcomings in the study of various systems had been reviewed.
