Abstract: Hippeastrum vittatum is a kind of Perennial herb.It has varieties and beautiful flower,which can be widely applied in indoor or garden,and also be a gift for holidays.Amaryllis is very popular in Europe,Japan and Russia etc.Because of that,Amaryllis has broad development prospects.However,There are few extensively research in production and application of Amaryllis in china.In the article,it describes the physiological characteristics and varieties firstly,and Amaryllis cultures to introduce the propagation methods,cultivation techniques and their application in landscape architecture.
