Abstract: In order to investigate the mechanism of drought resistance of Ceratoides arborescens, the differentially expressed proteins were identified by molecular biology technique under drought stress. The results showed that twenty differentially expressed protein spots were detected and seven representative spats of them were successfully identified, including three Ru Bis CO activase, one photosynthetic protein, two energy metabolism related proteins, and one adversity stress corresponding protein. It is speculated that drought stress has affects on the growth and metabolism of Ceratoides arborescens;as response to the drought stress, the drought-resistant proteins enhance the drought resistance of Ceratoides arborescens by protecting the photosynthesis system, improving the photosynthetic capacity of plants, and promoting the accumulation of sugar in plants.
