Abstract: Tomato late blight is caused by Phytophthora infestans, a destructive disease of vegetables, frequent and serious. The physiological races, mating types and metaiaxyl sensitivity of Phytophthora infestans were reviewed in this paper, the objective of this study was to provide a reference to breed disease resistant varieties and control of tomato late blight.
