摘要: 生长激素(growth hormone,GH)是由垂体前叶分泌的种属特异性单链多肽激素,为机体正常生长和泌乳所必需。它可以调节糖类、脂类和蛋白质三大类物质的代谢,对动物具有显著加快肌肉与骨骼生长、降低脂肪含量、促进生长发育、降低饲料报酬的作用,是控制生长激素分泌水平、调节动物生长发育的主效基因。主要对羊生长激素基因的基本特征、基因结构、其多态性与生产性能的关系作一阐述,并对今后的研究方向进行了展望。

Abstract: Growth hormone(GH) is a kind of species-specific single chain polypeptide hormone secreted by anterior pituitary,and it is necessary for normal growth and lactation.It can regulate metabolism of carbohydrate,lipid and protein,promote growth of animal muscle and bone,decrease fat content,promote growth and development,and reduce feed conversion ratio.It also the major gene controlling secretion of growth hormone and regulating animal growth and development.The basic characteristics and structure of GH gene as well as relationship between its polymorphisms and production performance were introduced.The future research direction was also proposed.
