Abstract: According to the quality analysis of the data from six stations in Hohhot in recent years,it is found that the technical errors account for a great proportion.For example,some have no master of the Criterion of Surface Meteorological Observation;some are not clear about the record format of monthly data files;others have a bad grip on the measuring and reporting softwareOSSMO 2004,and they are still lack of the necessary comprehension or understanding about the working principles and maintenance ways of different sensors and collectors.In order to ensure the eligibility rate of the ground meteorological monthly report and improve the auditing quality of the surface meteorological information data,based on the operation of automatic stations in five towns affiliated with Hohhot,the common errors and other usual problems of the ground monthly report and treatment methods were discussed.
