Abstract: Jieba Area of Chengde has good natural environment which is suitable for the survival of wild boars and has a large number of wild boars. Capture and domestication of wild boars protect crops from the damage and are beneficial to the breed conservation of wild boars, income increase of farmers, and development of tourism resource. The commonly used techniques of wild boars capture include trapping with rutting female wild boars and food as well as rearing of young wild boars. Among the methods, capture of wild boars by trapping with food has a good effect. To provide basis for the crossbred wild boars breeding, the captured wild boars are supposed to be domesticated in a scientific manner and in a specially established domestication field.
