The Screen of Ensile Variety of Corn Suitable for Planting at River Irrigation District in Inner Mongolia

Abstract: To accelerate the extension of feed production techniques and improve the nutritional level of livestock fed on grass,7 strains of corn,including Silage 67,Jingang 50,Silage 2,Xingzhu 1,Jinling 7,Jinling 10 and Jinling 14,were introduced by Grassland Working Station of Hangjinhou County of Inner Mongolia in 2009,and the comparative trial was carried out.The result indicated that the fresh yield of Xingzhu 1 was the highest,but it was the lowest in GI;the series of Jinling strains were better both in yield and GI compared with other strains,which should be generated at river irrigation district.
