Abstract: New duck plague is a kind of infectious disease that caused by a new type of herpes virus.It is similar to duck plague in the clinical symptoms and pathological change.And this diseased could not be effectively controlled duck plague vaccine,high free serum,hyper immune egg yolk antibodies and drugs.This disease brought serious economic losses to the duck industry in China.Using clinical necropsy,histopathology observation,virus isolation and identification,serological tests and other means,the diseased ducks with obvious symptoms in the duck farms of Shandong Province were diagnosed.It was confirmed as new duck plague.The diagnosis process of this duck plague were introduced in detail,so as to provide references for the diagnosis of new duck plague in the production.
