Abstract: The herbicidal efficacy and security of two herbicides,30 g/L mesosulfuron OD and 8%clodinafop-propargyl OD,were studied,to provide a theoretical basis for the practical application of the two herbicides. The result showed that in the 30 days after using the herbicides, the effect of 30 g/L mesosulfuron OD at the dose of 12.4 g(a.i.)/hm2 for Avena fatua L.and Bromus japonicus Thunb.were above 85.00%on biomass reductions. The effect of 8%clodinafop-propargyl OD at the dose of 45.0 g(a.i.)/hm2 on control of Avena fatua L.was 94.58%.The control efficiency on Puccinellia parlatore was 68.71%.The two herbicides are safe for wheat and effectively control weeds for increasing production.
