Abstract: In the same inorganic fertilizer level condition, effects of applying fully-fermented organic manure on flue-cured tobacco development and leaf yield and quality was studied. The results indicated that compared with control, the height, individual plant leaf area and canopy biomass accumulation of each treat, including applying organic manure at 35d, 50d, 65d after transplant, was higher, and the plant grew faster. The application of organic manure increased 2.14%-8.45% in yield, 11.99%-25.22 % in output value and 2.06%-10.43% in proportion of superior leaf. The application of organic manure reduced the total sugar and reducing sugar content, however, increased total nitrogen, nicotine and protein content of upper leaf.It enhanced the total sugar and reducing sugar content of middle leaf and enhanced the nicotine and potassium content of bottom leaf. The aroma volume, offensive taste, offensive odor and lingering odor and total smoking quality scores of organic manure application treat was higher than that of control. These showed that the application of organic manure can improve the leaf quality. The optimal application amount of each plant was 2400g fully-fermented organic manure on Honghuadajinyuan breed.
