Abstract: The yield contribution of the agronomic characters could be a guide for breeding selection. 78 plant lines from linseed F5 were investigated on 7 main agronomic characters (height, stem number, fabric length, ball number, seed number per ball and kernel weight per plant). The correlation analysis showed that 6 pairs of characters had reached significant level in F5. The F5 can be divided into 4 types by the shortest distance cluster analysis. By the analysis of principle component, 4 main contents were selected in F5 that contributed 85% genetic information. As a result, we should choose the high seed weight per plant, more ball number per plant and height, stem number were better on F5 progenies linseed.
