Abstract: Based on Micaps Observation data ,a dust storm over Huhhot,Inner Mongolia, in of 2011 (i.e.,29-30 April) is studied. By analysis of atmospheric circulation, physical quantity,the results indicated that the Mongolian cyclone and cold front are major effect system of the dust storm weather. Upper-level jet stream was main factor to the sand storm. Temperature advecfion, unstable stratification, vertical velocity and divergence have a good correspondence with the dust storm from outbreak to decline.
