Abstract: In the ground meteorological data audit, the omission of the squall records is always found in some stations. In this paper, we analysis the reason of squall omission combined with the definition, characteristics of squall combined with the range ability of temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and other meteorological elements when a squall appears in some station, in order to avoid omission at work of observation and audit for improving the accuracy of the ground meteorological data.
