Ningcheng County Crop Growing Season Climate Impact Assessment

Abstract: The climatic characteristic from April to September in 2012: temperature and precipitation were increased, and sunshine hours were decreased compared with those in normal. Soil moisture and soaking rain in spring can give a good advantage of seeding and rooting of field crop. The precipitation was higher in early summer, hail and gale were happened in part, and drought was happened in short time. First frost was ealier than normal, frost damage in part of district was disappear. In summery, the crop yield could be increased insignificantly in the climatic conditions of 2012.
