Abstract: Deoxyribozmes （DNAzymes） are a set of single stranded DNA segments with a variety of catalytic functions. It shows great potential in gene therapy of many diseases, especially has broad application prospects and clinical practical value for the tumor and the pathogenic microorganisms. In this paper,the mechanism of action of DNAzyme and its applications in the disease treatment were reviewed.
