Abstract: Through national capital subsidy program of soil testing and formula fertilization, the farmland soil nutrient survey was done in Horqin Youyi Zhongqi during 2007 and 2012. Through the villages and township soil sample was taken and tested the various nutrients, it had been clear about the existing farmland nutrient status especially farmland soil organic matter and macroelements, which was the basis for scientific fertilization. Through the existing nutrient content compared with the second soil census, the effects of fertilization measures on farmland soil nutrient was definite and scientific fertilization measures should be applied.8 444 sample testing results showed that the average farmland soil organic matter content was28.6 g/kg and the range was 2.6~109.1 g/kg and organic matter content from northwest to southeast decreased. The average, minimum and maximum content of organic matter, alkali-hydro nitrogen, total nitrogen, effective phosphorus and available potassium had certain differences in each township and the average content of total nitrogen, effective phosphorus and available potassium were low in some towns, while macroelement nutrient content was relatively high on Tuliemaodu farm.Through nearly 30 years of farming, organic matter, total nitrogen, available potassium had a lower trend, however the effective phosphorus increased.
