Abstract: According to the climate data from 1961 to 2 013, using climate tendency rate and Mann-Kendall method, we analyzed the regional characteristic of climate in Taipusi banner. The results showed that the annual mean temperature had risen at the speed of 0.34 ℃ /10 a, the rising temperature in winter contributed to the climate warming and the annual precipitation decreased at the rate of 2.1 mm/10 a. During the summer and spring, the precipitation decrease was more noticeable in nearly 53 years. Besides the annual precipitation, other climatic element including annual mean temperature,annual maximum temperature, annual minimum temperature, the accumulated temperature(≥0℃) and the accumulated temperature(≥10℃) had abrupt a lot, but the abrupt time was different. The finding provided scientific basis for the local agriculture to adapt to the climate change.
