Abstract: The rainfall intensity formula is the important basis for rainwater drainage system design, so the accuracy of the formula poses a great impact on the safety and economy of urban drainage system. The research progress for deriving methods of urban rainfall intensity formula was reviewed briefly in this article, and development trends of future research and key problems to be solved were also raized.
