Abstract: According to the climatic data from 1951 to 2010 of ten stations in Chifeng, the method of CWR-PEP was used to calculate the developing potential of Chifeng cloud water resource. The results showed that the probability of cloud seeding condition（Pc）in Chifeng was 19%~34%.The maximum of the probability of artificial precipitation seeding（Pe）was 6.6%~17.8%. Artificial precipitation potentiality（PEP）was 22.85~92.44 ten million tons. The total cloud water resource in Chifeng was up to 92.44 million tons every year.
