Abstract: Cold hardiness of white clover, red fescue, bluegrass,hard fescue,Agrostis stolonifera L. were analyzed by morphologic observation and determination of the soluble sugar content and conductivity.The results showed that cold tolerance of five plants by the sequence from high to low was： hard rescue 〉 bluegrass 〉 purple rescue 〉 white clover 〉 Agrostis stolonifera L. Cold hardiness form determination of physiological and biochemical indexes and overwintering morphologic observation had the same results.
