Abstract: A new type ridge plastic mulching planter of potato was introduced in this paper. It can complete the work oftertilizing, planting potato, ridging, plastic film mulching and so on. At the same time, it can place the drip irrigationpipeline under the plastic film. A double-potato-spoon seed-taker is applied on the planter to guarantee to take the potato-seed fiom the seed box and to sow just a potato-seed at each point. A new agronomic measure of potato ridge plasticmulching side planting is adopted to achieve a small row spacing and large ridge spacing cultivation mode. The planter haspassed the examination by the Inner Mongolia Agri-animal Husbandry Machinery Test Station and its perfomlance indicatorsfully meet the technical requirements of potato ridge plastic mulching planting technology.
