Abstract: Through the field practice,the herbaceous plants in lava platform around Jingpo Lake were investigated. The results showed that there were 101 herbaceous plants which belonged to 36 families, 84 genera in this area.Among 43 species were dominant plants, 75 species were medicinal plants. The authors investigated the distribution of wild herbaceous plants, and analyzed the application prospect of the herbaceous plants around Jingpo Lake,which provided technical assistance for the development of these plants.
