Abstract: Feed security is the most important and the most direct factor that affects the safety of animal food products.Throughout the world,consensus about feed safety has been achieved that feed products should not have adverse effects on animal health and growth,sustainable development of ecological environment and human health and life.Feed security is the prerequisite for safe animal products in animal husbandry.The paper re-explores feed safety from the viewpoints of feed materials,use of feed additives,feed processing,transportation,storage areas and other aspects of feed industry.
