Growth Characteristics of a Nematode-trapping Fungus-Pochonia chlamydosporia ARSEF3539

摘要: 对厚垣普可尼亚(Pochonia chlamydosporia)ARSEF3539真菌的生长特性——菌丝生长过程、形态、分生孢子与厚垣孢子的形成及发育过程进行了研究。通过试验发现,该菌在0.4 g/L玉米粉琼脂固体(CMA)培养基和沙氏葡萄糖琼脂(SDA)培养基2种培养基上生长速度略有不同,SDA培养基上菌丝生长速度快,菌落为厚重的白色棉絮状;CMA培养基上菌丝生长速度略慢,菌落为较单薄的棉絮状。2种培养基上菌丝皆呈放射状生长,菌丝致密,气生菌丝发达,分生孢子梗单个或轮生于菌丝,每个孢子梗有4~5个分支,每个分支顶端分生孢子聚生,孢子透明,呈卵圆或圆形。老的气生菌丝膨大处形成厚垣孢子,厚垣孢子内部砖格状、多室、厚壁。

Abstract: In the present study, the growth of Pochonia chlamydosporia ARSEF3539 was characterized in the aspect of growth process, morphology, and development and formation of conidia and chlamydospore. The results showed that the growth rate of Pochonia chlamydosporia ARSEF3539 in 0.4 g/L of corn meal agar (CMA) medium was slightly different from that in savary- gilliard glucose agar (SDA) medium; the strain grew faster in SDA medium and its clones were thick and white in flocculent shape; the strain grew slower in CMA medium and its clones were thin in flocculent shape; the hyphae on the two medium were radial, thick and developed; conidiophores were single or verticillately distributed in hyphae; there were 4-5 branches in each conidiophore and the conidia aggregately grew on top of each branch; the spore was transparent and was oval or round in shape. Chlamydospore with thick wall was formed in the aged hyphae and each was multicellular in a brick lattice shape.
