Abstract: Chinese herbal medicine additive, which is a kind of safe and pollution-free feed additives, has both nutritional role and medicinal role, and has natural origin, multi-function, no drug resistance and other characteristics. In recent years,the application of Chinese herbal medicine additive is more and more widely involving in various fields of animal production. The characteristics of Chinese herbal medicine additive and its application research progress in swine production are reviewed in this paper.
