Abstract: The aim of the present study was to provide theoretical foundation and reference for the standardized production and operations of laboratory animals. Taking SPF NIH mice producing battier facility established in Lanzhou institute of biological products as example, the mode of feeding, management and operation of SPF NIF mice in barrier system were elaborated in this paper. We established a standardized and large-scale production system of SPF NIH mice in a barrier system by scientific management and strict operation.
