Abstract: Adults and their larvae of Echinococcus granulosus had serious harms to human health and the development of animal husbandry. The strain identification and genotype of E. granulosus were deeply studied by using molecular biology techniques at home and abroad. The results showed that E. granulosus had 10 genotypes, among which G1,G2,G3,G5,G6,G7,G8 and G9 all could infect human and G4 couldn′t infect human. Whether G10 could infect human or not need to be studied. Therefore,it was of important significance for preventing and controlling the harms of E. granulosus to master molecular biology techniques for strain identification of E. granulosus and the geographic distribution of different genotypes.
