Abstract: Some Muscovy duck No. 1 farmer in Yunfu City of Guangdong Province was as basic unit, and contrast test for feed nutrition was carried out by taking self-produced feed as tested group and outsourcing feed as control group to study the feed nutrition standard for Muscovy duck No. I. The results showed that Muscovy duck No. 1 should be raised according to three stages, such as, Muscovy duckling material for 1-18 days of age, Muscovy middle duck material for 19-40 days of age and Muscovy big duck material for 41 days of age to listing. Muscovy middle duck material should be used in the ultra low metabolic energy standard to limit the speed of growth. As compensation, later could use high metabolic feed to effectively control the feed cost for duck per kilogram. Under the conditions in summer, when Muscovy big duck material crude protein standard was set at 15% and metabolizable energy was set at 12.33 MJ/kg, the feed cost for duck per kilogram and secondary-duck rate of listed Muscovy big duck were superior to outsourcing feed.
