Abstract: On the basis of surveying and referencing related papers,we have compared methods generally used in the research in shrubbiomass such as the plot method,score quantification method,visual colorimeter method and the method of using digital photograph to evaluate ,the results shows that plot method,line transect method and one quarter sampling method are fit to evaluate Ceratoides arborescens＇ biomass. These methods can obtain accurate date,they also provide technology support for promoting Ceratoides arborescens plantation in arid and semi-arid desert grassland area and improving natural Ceratoides arborescens grassland.
