Abstract: Network teaching is a new attempt for students and teachers who are accustomed to face to face teaching, but it is also the inevitable trend of teaching needs and science and technological development. It is required by the new teaching mode and system reform that the development direction of teaching should be barrier free mode. In this mode, there are no constraints for time and space; students can enjoy the teaching resources anytime anywhere; teacher resources can also break through the limit of region to realize the share of outstanding teachers. The network teaching mode has the above advantages. In this paper, the development situation and advantages of network teaching are discussed.
