Abstract: Since the first cattle of in vitro production of embryo （IVP）was produced and the technology of ovum pick-up （OPU） was applied in cattle, the IVP and OPU have been greatly improved. In the article, the main studying results and situation on IVP and OPU was summarized, its application prospect was also predicted.
