Abstract: Nowadays, the development of aquaculture insurance fall behind aquaculture in China. From the details of current status and existing problems, it is very necessary to conduct aquaculture policy insurance. It will promote the development of the aquaculture if the government or the insurance institutions provide the compensation for aquaculture producers, and patterns or models of aquaculture policy insurance also was analyzed.
