Abstract: With Wuzhumuqin Mongolia sheep and Poll Dorset sheep as donor sheep, 73 donor sheep were treated for superovulation by using FSH-LH method, the effective rate was 94.5 %, the average obtained eggs were 8.12 and the average acquired useful embryos were 7.22. The result indicated that the best month for superovulation effect was from Sep. to Nov.; the estrous cycle was normal and easy to be pregnant, the superovulation effect and embryo available rate of ewes could be improved. The good superovulation result would be attained with 150 IU of FSH dosage; the sheep with right age had the optimal superovulation effect, with the numbers of average attained eggs and available embryos being higher than that of bred and aged sheep groups.
