Abstract: Royal Jelly （RJ） is milk white or yellowish viscous substance,and secreted by the hypopharyngeal and mandibular glands of worker bees,it constitutes the essential food for queen bees and their larvae. The RJ is rare and precious,and there are lots of bioactive substances among the complex ingredients that can lead to the related physiological reaction after absorbed by organism. Here we briefly reviewed the ingredient of RJ and discuss its utilizing in the reproduction performance of animal improving abroad and domestic. In addition,the attentions that should be paid in the next research are proposed.
