Abstract: As one of the most serious swine diseases,PRRS is caused by PRRSV and brought numberous economic loss to swine industry. Based on the breakout of the disease in 2006,12 corporations were approved to produce PRRSV vaccine by China′s agriculture administration urgently. Nowadays,the disease was effectively controlled at many pig farms by administrating these vaccines,but whether it is really useful to control PRRS is controversial. Therefore,advance on using vaccine to control PRRS was reviewed in the article.
