Abstract: Grassland rotational grazing is one of important measures to reform the traditional grazing system,scientifically and rationally use natural grassland,enhance pasture carrying capacity,and prevent the desertification of grassland.The paper introduces the concept,connotation,technical measures of rotational grazing.And benefit generated by rotational grazing was also analyzed.Xi Ujimqin Banner of Inner Mongolia should focus on planning,design and operating procedures,implement measures according to local conditions,establish different models and promote publicity in popularization of rotational grazing techniques,in order to make majority of pastoralists recognize and accept such technology.More and more pastoralists actively apply for rotational grazing project rather than passively receive rotational grazing projects.Very good results have been achieved.
