Observation on Breeding Behavior and Reproductive Characteristics of African Ostrich

Abstract: The ostriches belonging to Ratitae of Aves are divided into the African ostrich,American ostrich,Australia ostrich（emu）,and Kiwi（New Zealand）.Currently,the bred ostriches are mostly African ostriches in the world.The breeding behaviors of ostriches were observed,and the breeding characteristics as well as reproductive behaviors including estrus,mating,breeding and egg laying behavior were introduced.The breeding status in the world as well as breeding time and levels in China was also introduced.
