Abstract: Based on the birth identification data of Zhongwei goats during 2009-2012,the effects of non-genetic factors （year of birth, sex, season of birth and maternal parity）on the birth weight of Zhongwei goat lambs were studied. The results showed that birth year and sex had significant effects on the birth weight of Zhongwei goat lambs （P〈0.05）and maternal parity and birth season had no significant effect on the birth weight of Zhongwei goat lambs （P〉0.05）.
