Abstract: In recent years, with the development of sheep industry,especially the number increase of Small Tail Han Sheep with prolificacy, the morbidity and mortality of pregnancy toxemia of sheep show an upward trend, which brings great economic loss. Its pathogenesis was complex. The research situation of pregnancy toxemia of sheep was elaborated from the aspects of pathogeny , pathogenesis, prevention and cure,in order to provide reference for the prevention and cure of this disease.
