Abstract: In order to understand distribution and drug resistance of Staphylococcus aureus of Henan Province. 400 samples were collected from dairy farms, and S. aureus were isolated and identified by VITEK-2 Compact automatic microbial analysis system, and the drug resistance analysis was carried out by mini-broth dilution susceptibility test. The result showed that total 82 isolates of S. aureus were isolated, and the isolating rate was 20.5%. The drug resistance analysis results showed that S. aureus had serious resistance to penicillin G, erythromycin and ampicillin, and the drug resistance rates were 100%, 86.6% and 98.8%. S. aureus was sensitive to cephalosporin, aminoglycoside and fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It is indicated that animal-origin S. aureus of Henan Province had serious resistance to antibiotics, so antibiotics should be cautious in animal production.
