Abstract: The transcription factor, carbohydrate response element binding protein(ChREBP), is combined with several relevant genes of glycolysis and lipogenesis to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism. And glucose and lipid metabolism is the focus on metabolic syndrome such as diabetes and obesity for research, and it is also the concerns of improving the quality of meat, cultivating high quality of livestock and poultry breed. The structure of ChREBP, tissue distribution, biological function and influencing factors on its expression were reviewed in order to provide theoretical basis for regulating glucose and lipid metabolism better.
