Abstract: Ideological and political education is an enormous system project in the cultivation mode of the top-notch innovative talents. In the present study, we objectively analyzed the current status of ideological and political education and the existing problems in the process of ideological and political education innovation through grasping the growing characteristics and rules of outstanding innovative talents; furthermore, combined with the internal requirement of ideological and political education innovation in colleges and universities, we focused on the pathway to establish an innovative ideological and political education mode which was consistent with the training mode of top-notch innovative talents.
