Abstract: Inorder to determine the effect of the adding of Potamogeton Pectinatus to the diet of pig starter on production,40 healthy white pigs were selected in this experiment ,half of which were boar pigs and the other sows, their avoirdupois were about 30kg,they were randomly divided into four groups and each group included 10 pigs. During trial periods,pigs of each group were fed with the adding of 0% ,3% ,7% ,11% Potamogeton Pectinatus respectively.Comparing with the parallel group,there was no significant （P〉0.05） difference in daily gain of the control groups ;the adding of 3% Potamogeton Pectinatus can enhance the digestion rate of nutrients in the diet.
