Abstract: When measuring the soil effective sulfur using barium sulfate nephelometery,the plotted specification curve could not meet design requirements because that the low concentration points were not in a straight line resulted in a low accuracy in the determination results.After some quantitative analysis and strict design, the results showed that the correlation of the specification curve plotted using multiple regression equation was significantly highly than that of the linear regression equation.
