Abstract: China is a big agricultural country, then agriculture was playing a important role in social development. Now,all around circumstances was changing, that will take somebody to a lot of new points about agricultural functions .This article was analysis the social function of agriculture based on the food security point of view, and explained the agricultural function from a new point of view ,and put forward a reference response for better implementation new development of agriculture.
