Effect of PEG6000 stress on the protective enzyme activity of barley

摘要: 采用聚乙二醇(PEG6000)渗透胁迫的方法,以抗旱品系13PJ-118和非抗旱品系13PJ-108为试验材料,对幼苗进行了模拟干旱胁迫,测定了胁迫条件下幼苗叶片保护性酶的活性。结果表明,在0%-25%的聚乙二醇胁迫下,随PEG浓度升高,大麦叶片SOD活性呈逐渐上升趋势,POD酶、CAT酶活性呈先上升而后下降趋势;SOD酶活性可作为首选抗旱鉴定指标,POD酶、CAT酶活性可以作为抗旱鉴定的参考生理指标。

Abstract: Simulating water stress with PEG-6000,the barley seedlings of "13PJ-118"(drought tolerant) and "13PJ-108"(drought sensitive) were treated with different concentrations of PEG-6000(5%,10%,15%,20%,25%),and the activity of protective enzyme were determinated such as leaf SOD activity,POD activity,CAT activity.The results showed that the activity of SOD showed an increasing trend by the incressing of PEG-6000 concentration,but the activity of POD and CAT first increased and then decreased;The SOD activity could be used as the most important physiological index of drought resistance,and the POD activity,the CAT activity may be the major index.
